Hydropsyche Tan/Orange Back (356)

Hydropsyche Tan/Orange Back (356) is a weighted nymph imitating the larva of the Hydropsyche caddis. It is useful for trout and grayling in rivers and streams when fish are feeding low among the stones and in channels with an even current. Fish it by short-line nymphing or under an indicator, controlling a dead drift close to the bottom.

The orange back increases contrast in faster water. Choose size #10 for a typical river, and #12 when fish are taking smaller larvae. The hook is barbless.
