J:Son Wing Material Caddis Adult

J:son Wing Material Caddis Adult is thin printed wing film intended to be cut and heat-shaped. It is used to form wings for adult caddis patterns. The printed layer can be used alone or joined to a neutral layer when a double-wing construction is required.

Construction and use

Cut the wing to the selected pattern, leaving a small margin for refining the outline. Add detail with a waterproof marker if desired. When using two layers, align them before shaping the perimeter exclusively with a matching J:son wing burner. Trim away the waste after the material cools, place the finished wing on the hook shank and secure it with controlled thread wraps.
