Little Bown Jig

Little Bown Jig is a small jig nymph for working the current close to the bottom. Its tungsten bead gets the fly down quickly, while the jig hook is well suited to fishing between stones and over hard, uneven ground. It is a practical pattern for trout and grayling in faster water.

Fish it on a short-line nymphing rig or as the heavier bottom fly in a team. Choose smaller sizes when food is small and the fish are feeding cautiously. The hook is barbless.
