Partridge D4AY Ideal Streamer Fly Hooks

Partridge D4AY Ideal Streamer is a hook for streamers, lures and long-shank nymph patterns. Its heavy-wire construction suits flies that need a substantial foundation and a firm platform for building a larger profile.

Design and use

The long shank leaves room for an extended body, tail and streamer materials. Its straight PATRIOT point is intended to support positive hook setting. The barbless form makes unhooking more straightforward and calls for tidy thread and material placement so the point remains clear during tying.
