Partridge N2 Low Water Single Fly Hooks

Partridge N2 Partridge Low Water Single is a single salmon hook for traditional salmon and steelhead patterns. The modified Limerick bend, standard wire and long shank provide a basis for slim flies intended for lower-water presentation.

Design and use

The long shank offers room for an extended body, tail and wing, while standard wire keeps the finished pattern at a moderate weight. The modified Limerick bend determines how materials sit around the bend and point. Use the shank length to establish balanced proportions and avoid crowding the head with excessive material.
