Partridge NTS Nordic Tube Single Fly Hooks

Partridge NTS Nordic Tube Single is a single hook for tube patterns intended for salmon, sea trout and steelhead. The modified Sproat bend, wide gape and extra-strong construction suit flies where the hook works behind a body tied on a tube.

Design and use

The tube carries the main body length, leaving the hook to provide the rear mounting and holding element of the pattern. The wide gape gives space around the point, while the modified Sproat bend shapes the transition into the bend. When tying, select tube and material proportions that keep the hook aligned with the centre line of the fly.
