Partridge SLD4 Surehold Wet Fly Hooks

Partridge SLD4 Surehold Wet is a barbless hook for wet flies. Its straightforward format suits classic patterns with soft hackle, a wing or a body dressed along the shank, without requiring excessively long proportions in the finished fly.

Design and use

The hook has a down-eye and a black nickel finish. When tying, keep the eye accessible and leave clear space ahead of the point, matching the amount of material to the hook’s gape. The barbless construction is practical for wet flies used where fish are released with minimal handling. It can be used for wet patterns with a neat, traditional profile.
