Partridge X2G Long Shank Down Eye Treble Gold (10)

Partridge X2G Long Shank Down Eye Treble Gold is a long-shank treble hook intended primarily for salmon flies. Its three-point layout suits traditional patterns in which a treble hook forms the main anchoring element of the finished fly.

Design and use

The extended shank provides tying room for a balanced body, wing and hackle arrangement. The up-eye allows the attachment method to be matched to the construction and proportions of the fly. The outpoint treble arrangement leaves the points directed away from the body, so the dressing should leave clear space around them. Use this model for salmon patterns that call for three hook points and a longer tying platform.
