Pheasant Tail CDC Emerger
Pheasant Tail CDC Emerger is an emerger from the Pheasant Tail family of patterns. The famous Pheasant Tail nymph was developed by English river keeper Frank Sawyer for the Hampshire Avon. This version works in the surface film as an imitation of emerging insects when trout and grayling are feeding subtly close to the surface.
Present it on a natural dead drift without tightening the leader. The CDC feathers help keep the fly high in the surface film. Barbless hook.
