Renzetti Dubbing Twister Teaser

Renzetti Dubbing Twister Teaser is the HT303 double-ended dubbing tool, combining a small hook for a conventional thread loop with a fine needle for teasing fibres. It is not a split-wire twister or a tool for splitting the tying thread. The stainless-steel hook engages a prepared dubbing loop and allows the material inside it to be twisted manually into a compact rope before it is wound onto the hook shank.

The handle is machined from heavy solid brass with a hexagonal profile. This shape provides a secure grip while turning the tool and helps prevent it from rolling across the bench when set down. At the opposite end is a fine needle with a burred tip. It lifts and separates fibres in the wound dubbing, allowing its volume and texture to be adjusted without changing to a separate brush.

Both working ends are integrated into one compact tool: the hook forms and twists a standard dubbing loop, while the needle is used for subsequent teasing and detailing. This arrangement makes it easy to move from forming the dubbing rope to opening its fibres, while retaining direct control over the placement of individual strands.
