Renzetti Magnum Hair Stacker
Renzetti Magnum Hair Stacker is a Magnum-size hair stacker designed to align the tips of larger bunches of hair before they are secured to a hook. Its distinguishing feature is a brass barrel measuring 5/8 in in outside diameter and 2 in long. This capacity accommodates fuller portions of material, including those commonly used in saltwater flies and when spinning deer hair.
The tool consists of an aluminum base and one smooth brass barrel. The smooth surface allows the hair to slide freely while the tips are being aligned. A rubber pad beneath the base helps steady the stacker and protects the work surface from direct contact with the metal.
To align a bunch, place the hair tip-first into the brass barrel, insert the barrel into the base and tap the tool gently against a hard surface several times. Removing the barrel reveals the arranged tips, making it easier to retain their even position while transferring the bunch to the hook.
