Rio PowerFlex Trout Knotless Leader

RIO PowerFlex Trout Knotless Leader is a knotless tapered leader for trout fly fishing. Its progressive change in diameter is designed to transfer energy smoothly from the fly line towards the fly, helping the leader turn over readily across a range of fishing and casting conditions.

PowerFlex Trout is suitable for presenting dry flies and streamers, as well as nymphing rigs that combine a strike indicator with weighted flies. The knotless taper provides a smooth transition along the leader, while manufacture to exacting tolerances supports consistent dimensions and predictable turnover from one leader to the next.

Choose the X rating to suit fly size, presentation and water conditions. A higher X number indicates a finer tip, generally selected for smaller flies and more delicate presentations. A lower X number provides a thicker tip for larger flies, streamers or heavier nymphing arrangements. Check the X rating in the product selector before ordering; further tippet can be added as the terminal section becomes shorter through repeated fly changes.
