Rio Two Tone Indicator Tippet
RIO Two Tone Indicator Tippet is an opaque, two-colour material for building a visible sighter into European-style and tight-line nymphing leaders. It alternates 8-inch sections of fluorescent pink and fluorescent chartreuse, with sharply defined transitions between the colours. These clear colour breaks make pauses, draws and changes in line speed easier to detect.
A suitable length is tied into the leader above the final tippet section, where it can be watched throughout the drift. Any stop, lift or unexpected movement may provide a visual cue that a fish has contacted the nymph. Keeping the sighter in a clear line of vision and adjusting its position against changing water, bankside backgrounds and light can improve its practical visibility.
The range comprises 4X (6 lb), 3X (7 lb), 2X (8.5 lb) and 1X (11 lb), with 30 yards on each spool. Choose the diameter and rated strength to suit the leader design and the way the rig will be handled, then select the required size from the product options.
