Scud Dk. Brown is a dark, weighted scud nymph for fishing quieter runs, marginal vegetation and areas where trout and grayling feed close to the bottom. Allow the fly to sink before starting the drift.

Fish it slowly and as close to the riverbed as possible, on a short-line nymph or beneath an indicator. Choose smaller sizes when fish are feeding selectively. Tied on barbless hooks in sizes #12–#18.
