Spirit River Mottled Nymph Blend

Spirit River Mottled Nymph Blend combines four translucent synthetic fibres to create a naturally varied colour effect. Instead of producing a flat, single-colour body, the blend gives the fly a subtly mottled, multi-tone appearance. This makes it useful when the imitation needs colour depth as well as a full outline, without losing the easy handling expected from a dubbing material.

Construction and use

It is particularly effective for spiky, buggy nymphs and wet flies with large, full bodies. Spin it onto the thread for a controlled surface, or use a dubbing loop to build extra volume. Once twisted, brushing the body reveals the mixed fibres and adds the uneven texture that suits these patterns.
