Spirit River Squirmy Wormies

Spirit River Squirmy Wormies are very soft, elastic lengths of worm material for tying bodies and segmented worm imitations. Individual pieces are supplied in the colour variants of the Spirit River family, allowing the shade to be selected for the intended fly construction. The pack contains separate lengths ready for trimming.

Construction and use

Tie a length in at the tail or at the front of the body, depending on the planned material path, and shape it over the underbody with moderate tension. The very soft surface calls for broad, controlled thread wraps; excessive point pressure can cut the material. After tying, a small drop of compatible adhesive can be tested on an offcut. Store the pieces separately from materials that may damage soft plastics.
