Spirit River UV2 Premium Selected Marabou

Spirit River UV2 Premium Selected Marabou consists of carefully selected marabou feathers for flies that need soft, mobile material. The feathers are approximately 15 cm long and available in a broad range of colours. Marabou suits streamers, wet flies and salmon flies.

Construction and use

Its delicate, soft fibres spread easily around the hook and move actively in water. Use them for tails, wings, throats, bodies or collars. When wet, the fibres collapse and pulse during the retrieve, giving the fly a full, mobile profile. The loose fibres create volume without excessive density. A narrower part of the feather suits small details, while a broader section builds a larger silhouette.
