Spirit River UV2 Turkey Biot consists of narrow, tapered sections from turkey feathers for forming fly bodies. UV2 dyeing provides a broad selection of colours for different patterns. The biots create clean, regular segmentation and slim, well-defined bodies.

Construction and use

Each biot has a smooth, slightly curved surface and a naturally tapered shape. Wrapped around the hook, it forms a body with a characteristic ridged or segmented finish. The material suits both dry flies and nymphs. The narrow end makes the first turn easy to start, while the angle of the wrap controls the width of the successive segments.
