Sprite S2175 Barbless Competition Wet Matt Bronze Fly Hooks (50)

Sprite S2175 Barbless Competition Wet Matt Bronze is a barbless hook for wet flies and classic lake patterns. Its short shank and strong wire provide a compact foundation for small dressings, wet-fly hackle and traditional proportions. It is suited to patterns that need a neat profile and a robust hook format.

Design and use

The Sproat bend and down-eye keep the tying area organised around the head and allow materials to be arranged along the short shank. The stronger wire accommodates body and hackle layers, while a clear section should be left in front of the point. Use it for classic wet flies, lake patterns and restrained competition-style dressings. The barbless design supports straightforward fish handling.
