Stonfo Hair Compactor

Stonfo Hair Compactor is a small tool designed to compact hair and feather fibres held in a dubbing clip. Rather than aligning the tips like a hair stacker, it gathers loosely spread fibres into a narrow, compact bunch that is easier to keep under control during the following stages of tying.

Once the material has been secured in the clip, the tool’s narrow central element is moved along the front of the clip to bring the fibres together. The material remains gripped throughout the operation, reducing the need to rearrange the bunch with your fingers. The Hair Compactor does not form or spin a dubbing loop; it prepares fibres already held in a clip and can be used with various types of dubbing clips.
