Stonfo Knot Cover

Stonfo Knot Cover is a rubber knot sleeve with a biconical profile, designed to give fishing connections a neat, streamlined finish. Its tapered shape helps the covered joint pass more easily through the rod guides while containing trimmed tag ends that might otherwise catch on parts of the tackle.

In a fly-fishing set-up, the cover can be used at the connection between the fly line and leader. Thread it onto the relevant part of the rig before making the connection, then tie and trim the knot and slide the sleeve into position. It can also serve as a finishing component on streamers and other fishing lures where a smooth rubber cover is required.
