Stonfo Spooling Station
Stonfo Spooling station is a manual line-management tool designed for controlled winding and transferring of fishing line. It supports the supply spool while the line is being fed, helping the user maintain steady resistance and a consistent winding process. The station accepts spools up to 20 cm in diameter and can be used when filling a reel or organising line stored on larger supply spools.
A double-spring system provides adjustable line tension during winding. Setting the appropriate resistance helps the line settle evenly on the reel spool and reduces loose coils. The station is also useful for transferring line from a bulk or original spool to nylon-dispenser spools, without relying on another person to hold the supply spool during the job.
It can additionally provide a controlled feed of material while making leaders, traces and other rigs. Begin with moderate tension and adjust it to suit the diameter and stiffness of the line being handled. Excessive resistance may place unnecessary strain on the material, while insufficient resistance can result in a loose, uneven wind. The manual design gives the user direct control throughout the operation.
