Stonfo Y Dubbing Twister 1

Stonfo Y Dubbing Twister 1 is a manual dubbing twister with a single wire hook formed into its distinctive Y profile. The hook holds both legs of a prepared dubbing loop, while the twist is produced by turning the complete tool in the hand. This straightforward construction gives the tier direct control over the speed of rotation and the amount of twist applied to the thread.

Once dubbing or other fibres have been placed between the legs of the loop, the tool helps close the material into a twisted section that can then be wound around the hook shank. The soft-touch handle provides steady contact with the fingers during repeated turns. This is one individual Type 1 tool, without the bearing-driven mechanism used in Stonfo Rotodubbing models.
