Sybai Sparkle Chenille

Sybai Sparkle Chenille is chenille with a reflective finish for streamer bodies, Woolly Bugger patterns and larger saltwater flies. It creates a distinct fibrous profile, with the density of the turns allowing the body shape to be adjusted to the pattern.

Construction and use

Expose a short section of the core, move the fibres aside and tie the material to the hook shank. Wind the chenille in adjacent turns, sweeping the fibres back before every turn. Dense turns build a fuller body, while more open turns leave greater movement between the fibres. At the front, expose the core again, secure the material and trim only the fibres needed to achieve the intended fly shape.
