Taimen Arigiin Softshell Jacket - Turbulence
Facts:
1. Cleaning after use
Remove mud, sand and other soiling with a soft cloth or sponge. After contact with salt water, rinse the affected areas with fresh water. Do not scrub the fabric with a hard brush or use a pressure washer.
2. Preparation for washing
Empty the pockets and remove attached accessories. Fasten the zips and hook-and-loop fasteners as stated on the care label. Wash with garments of similar colours, separately from items with sharp components and exposed hook-and-loop fasteners.
3. Washing and cleaning products
Follow the washing method and temperature stated on the care label. Use a mild product intended for softshell or technical clothing and suitable for the model concerned. Do not use fabric softener, bleach or solvents. Rinse out the detergent thoroughly.
4. Drying
Dry the garment laid flat or hung freely in a well-ventilated place, in the shade, away from radiators and hot air. Use a tumble dryer and iron only if permitted by the care label, and follow its settings.
5. Care of the water-repellent finish
If the model has a DWR finish and water stops forming droplets on the surface, clean the garment first. If necessary, renew the water-repellent treatment with a product suitable for this softshell. Using heat to activate the treatment requires permission in the instructions for the particular model.
6. Storage
Store the garment clean and completely dry, laid out loosely in a cool, well-ventilated place. Do not seal damp softshell in a bag. Avoid hot cars, radiators and prolonged exposure to sunlight; dampness and overheating may accelerate deterioration of the materials.
7. Inspection and repairs
Check the seams, zips, hook-and-loop fasteners, cuffs and areas exposed to abrasion. Do not pull out a snagged thread by force. Repair minor damage using a suitable method before it becomes larger. Use materials suitable for the type of garment and the part being repaired, or use a professional repair service.
