Taimen Cashmere Sweater
100 % chashmere
1. Airing and freshening
After wearing, air the sweater and allow it to dry. Wash it when required by soiling or hygiene. Remove stains gently, without vigorous rubbing or stretching the knitwear.
2. Preparing and choosing washing products
Check the care label and turn the sweater inside out. Use a mild product intended for cashmere or delicate wool. Do not use bleach, solvents or enzymatic detergents unsuitable for these fibres.
3. Hand washing
Hand-wash the sweater in lukewarm water, at the temperature stated on the care label. Gently agitate it; do not scrub or wring it. Rinse out the product thoroughly, avoiding sudden changes in the water temperature. Do not lift a heavy, wet sweater by one part of the fabric.
4. Drying
Gently press out excess water in a towel. Dry the sweater flat, after reshaping it naturally, in a well-ventilated place and in the shade. Do not hang wet knitwear, dry it on a radiator or use hot air. Do not tumble-dry it.
5. Pilling and ironing
Gently remove small pills with a comb or another tool suitable for cashmere. Do not pull out fibres or press the blade against the knitwear. Iron only when permitted by the care label, using the recommended setting and protecting the delicate material.
6. Storage
Store the sweater clean, completely dry and loosely folded. Provide a cool, dry place and suitable protection against moths for textiles. Do not leave it on a hanger for long periods, in damp conditions, in a hot car or near sources of heat.
7. Inspection and repairs
Check the seams and areas exposed to abrasion. Do not pull out snagged loops by force. Repair small holes before they become larger. Use materials suitable for the type of garment and the part being repaired, or use a professional repair service.
