Taimen Ider Wading Boots

Taimen Ider are wading boots designed with comfort in mind while wading. The felt sole is bonded and stitched. Areas exposed to abrasion are protected by rubber reinforcements, bonded and triple-stitched. Offered at a price that may surprise you. Remarkably competitive for footwear of this calibre.

More Room for Thick Neoprene Socks

To support maximum comfort while wading, the boots are built on a specially developed, wider last. This provides ample interior space, allowing anglers to wear even thick neoprene socks without pressure points, numb toes, or compromise.

Additional Highlights:

• Felt Sole with Optional Studding – high-quality synthetic felt delivers outstanding grip. A rigid plastic insert allows for easy screw-in studs anywhere on the sole. The felt is both glued and stitched for secure attachment.
• Cushioning Midsole – a flexible foam layer distributes body weight evenly and absorbs shock, while reinforcements in key areas help protect feet from impact with rocks.
• Durable, Quick-Drying Upper – the lightweight, water-repellent fabric sheds moisture efficiently, both through the sides and the structure of the material itself.
• Brushed Rubber Reinforcements – high-wear zones are shielded with rubber that is both glued and triple-stitched, providing abrasion resistance in these areas.
• Soft Neoprene Lining – the interior is lined with neoprene, offering warmth, comfort, and a snug, tailored fit.
• Reinforced Toe Cap – the front of the boot features a special insert capable of withstanding up to 150 kg of pressure, protecting toes even in the event of a heavy rock impact while wading.
• Self-Locking Lace Hooks – these make lacing up easier, keep the laces secure, and enhance boot stability.
• Extended Rubber Toe Guard – the sole wraps over the toe, forming a solid protective bumper against knocks and abrasions. This component is also stitched to the front of the upper.
