Taimen Menza TIZIP Sonic are breathable waders designed for anglers who spend long days on the water and expect more than basic protection. This model combines a 3-layer breathable laminate, ultrasonic seam construction and a waterproof front TIZIP zipper, making the waders easier to put on, take off and use during all-day fishing.

The waders are made from a 3-layer breathable laminate in the RIVULUS® PRO LIGHT standard. This is a lighter profile within the PRO standard – designed for comfort, good breathability and practical durability during regular fishing. The nylon outer layer gives the fabric stability, abrasion resistance and a more reliable feel when wading, walking and fishing in varied terrain.

The main difference in this version is the waterproof front TIZIP zipper. It makes the waders easier to use during a long day on the water: putting them on, taking them off, changing clothing layers and using them in changing conditions becomes simpler and faster. The TIZIP zipper turns Menza TIZIP Sonic into a more convenient all-day wading system, without compromising the technical character of the construction.

The key construction element remains SeamSavvy® Sonic. In Menza TIZIP Sonic, a seam does not start with a needle hole. It starts with bonding the material. The laminate panels are joined ultrasonically, creating a flat, continuous connection without perforating the membrane. Only then is sealing tape applied from the inside. In practice, the tape reinforces a connection that has already been made as a sealed, non-perforated structure at the welding stage.

SeamSavvy® is not only about reducing the number of seams. It is a complete seam map designed around the natural movement of the body. On the legs, the only join runs at the front, so when the knee bends, the seam works with the leg instead of being crushed in the fold. At hip level, the joins move to the sides of the body – outside the areas of greatest bending and fabric compression.

The outer layer of the laminate is finished with DWR, which reduces water absorption from the outside and helps water run off the fabric surface. Menza TIZIP Sonic waders also carry the bluesign® PRODUCT label, confirming that the materials and production process meet strict environmental and chemical standards.
