The idea that guided us when designing the Taimen Rauchua Fly Fishing Vest is to create complete product - durable, comfortable in use, and at the same time ensuring thermal comfort regardless of weather conditions. This approach resulted in the use of innovative solutions, and the resulting product became a combination of seemingly incompatible features. The vest is made of durable materials, and at the same time it is breathable as if it were a vest made of light mesh. Short, and at the same time ensuring the possibility of placing a large amount of fishing equipment and accessories in it.
Details:
The vest is made of durable, breathable nylon, finished in DWR technology. Inside, the vest is lined with approximately 4 mm three-dimensional mesh, which is breathable in each direction. The three-dimensional structure of the mesh makes the space between the outer material and the body super airy, and the vest provides thermal comfort both during fishing on hot and cold days. The arms inside the vest are made of laminated foam finished with hemispheres. Due to this shape, between the foam and the body a space is created , ensuring superb air circulation. The foam itself is so soft and springy that the weight of the vest is evenly distributed over the shoulders and even when wearing it heavily weighted, you feel comfortable and light.

1. Preparing for cleaning
Empty all pockets and remove tools, boxes, fly patches and other accessories if they are detachable. Check that no hooks remain in the fabric. Remove sand and other loose dirt from the pockets, mesh and zips.
2. Cleaning after use
Remove minor dirt with a soft cloth or sponge. After contact with salt water, clean the affected areas with fresh water in accordance with the model's instructions. Do not use hard brushes, a pressure washer or aggressive scrubbing.
3. Cleaning and washing
Choose a mild product suitable for the fabric, mesh and other vest components. Wash the whole vest only in accordance with the care label. Foam, stiffened pockets and bonded areas may require spot cleaning. Do not use bleach, solvents or fabric softener.
4. Drying
Open the pockets and dry the vest in a well-ventilated place in the shade, allowing the inside and padded components to dry completely. Do not bend stiffened pockets or wring the foam. Avoid radiators and hot air; tumble drying and ironing require permission on the care label.
5. Zips, hook-and-loop fasteners and water-repellent treatment
Regularly remove sand from fastenings and do not force a blocked zip. If the model has a DWR finish, renew it with a suitable product in accordance with the vest's instructions. Do not apply products that could damage the mesh, foam or bonded components.
6. Storage
Store the vest empty, clean and completely dry, laid loosely or on a suitable hanger. Do not compress the pockets or padded components for extended periods. Avoid moisture, a closed, damp bag, a heated car and sources of heat.
7. Inspection and repairs
Check the seams, pockets, zips, buckles and accessory attachment points. Repair damaged attachments and minor abrasions before they become larger. Do not put strain on a damaged attachment point. Use materials suitable for the type of garment and the part being repaired, or use a professional repair service.
