Textreme Mixed Holo Chenille

Textreme Mixed Holo Chenille is chenille with a holographic sheen, intended for building fly and streamer bodies. Its mixed fibres create changing, multi-angle reflections, providing a distinct flash across an evenly wrapped body without changing the basic chenille tying method.

Construction and use

Before tying it in, separate the fibres over a short section to expose the core. Secure the core to the hook shank, then wrap the chenille in adjacent turns, sweeping the fibres back before each turn. Choose the material’s scale to suit the hook and the body width required. It can be used for nymphs, wet flies, streamers and other patterns that call for a compact body with a reflective accent.
