Textreme Polyfloss Small (140 Den.) is a texturized yarn for making smooth, uniform bodies on dry flies and nymphs. The 140 Den. version is suited to smaller or slimmer constructions than Polyfloss 280 Den., while retaining the same role as a body-building material. Its stated brilliance emphasises the body surface when the turns are laid evenly without overlap. The yarn can also be used for coloured ribbing, either by itself or combined with other yarns. The range includes 40 colours, with natural and fluorescent options. During tying, control the tension carefully: loose turns leave gaps, while excessive tension can reduce the intended body volume.
