Textreme Round Chenille

Textreme Round Chenille is a rounded chenille for building even, full bodies on flies and streamers. Its round profile supports a regular body when wrapped in adjacent turns, while choosing the appropriate size allows the coverage to be matched to the hook and pattern design.

Construction and use

Separate the fibres over a short section before tying in, exposing the core. Secure it on the hook shank and wrap the material in touching turns, sweeping the fibres back before each turn. A finer version builds a slimmer body, while a larger version creates broader coverage and a fuller profile. Finish by securing the core with thread and trimming the waste. The chenille suits nymphs, wet flies and streamers.
