Textreme Super Pearl Chenille

Textreme Super Pearl Chenille is dense 15 mm chenille made from translucent and pearl fibres. It is built on a windable core, which is used to carry the material while forming the body. The chenille is supplied on a 3 m card, providing material for bulky Blob flies as well as larger streamer bodies.

Construction and use

Brush the fibres rearward before each turn so they do not become trapped under the following wrap. Tie in the core at the rear of the hook, wind it forward in even touching turns and secure it at the front. Monitor the body width as you work, since the dense fibres build volume quickly. After each turn, the material can be brushed gently to even the profile and keep the fibres directed away from the hook eye.
