Tiemco TMC 2499 BL Fly Hooks

Tiemco TMC 2499 BL is a barbless hook for emergers, pupae and larvae, shrimp, eggs and heavier Czech-nymph patterns. Its short shank and extra-wide gape suit compact, bulky dressings that need a broad hook opening.

Design and use

The 2X-heavy wire provides a strong base for weighted nymphs and larger patterns. A 2X-short shank keeps the body compact, while the 3X-wide gape leaves substantial space around the point. Forged construction supports the hook shape and the bronze finish suits natural materials. The SPR-Barbless point is round and has no barb, making it compatible with dressings where the body, shellback or egg material needs room without crowding the point.
