Tungsten BH Orange Pheasant Tail

Tungsten BH Orange Pheasant Tail is a nymph from the Pheasant Tail family. The famous Pheasant Tail Nymph was developed by Frank Sawyer for the Hampshire Avon. This modern version with a tungsten bead gets the fly quickly into the bottom zone and imitates mayfly nymphs.

Use it for trout and grayling in current, runs and deeper drifts. Fish it short-line nymphing, under an indicator or as the heavier fly in the rig, maintaining a free drift close to the bottom. Barbless hook.
