W Buggers Black

W Buggers Black is a dark Bugger-style streamer for actively searching the water beneath the surface. The black version provides strong contrast in overcast conditions, at dawn, after dark and in slightly coloured water. It is suitable for trout in channels, deeper holes and over lake drop-offs.

Retrieve the fly with short strips and pauses, or with a steady retrieve along an undercut bank. Vary the retrieve speed to match the fish’s response to the streamer. The hook is barbless.
