Wapsi All Purpose Super Bright - Dubbing
Wapsi All Purpose Super Bright is for tiers who want a body with lively, multi-colour sparkle rather than a flat, single-colour finish. It combines three different light-reflective fibres, while every colour is blended from three or more base colours. That gives the finished fly a changing visual effect as it moves or catches light. The series is versatile enough for nymphs, wet flies, streamers and other patterns where the abdomen, thorax or body needs a noticeable flash.
Construction and use
Use it to build anything from a slim body to a fuller profile by changing the amount of dubbing and thread tension. It can also provide a bright accent in a thorax, head or wrapped body. Apply small amounts to the thread and twist firmly. For more control over the reflective fibres, place the material in a dubbing loop; this helps distribute the blend evenly and makes it easier to adjust the body’s density.
