Wapsi Arctic Fox Fur Patch
Wapsi Arctic Fox Fur is soft, mobile arctic fox hair supplied on a fur or hair patch. It is suited to small streamers, salmon flies and steelhead flies, serving as a primary wing material or as a mobile addition to a layered pattern.
Construction and use
Cut the required bundle with its skin base, separate the fibres with your fingers and remove underfur according to the density needed. Align the tips before tying, or leave them slightly uneven for a more open profile. Secure the bundle with a few loose wraps, tighten at the base and work the thread through the tie-in point to control the direction of the fibres.
