Wapsi Football Indicator with Gasket
Wapsi Football Indicator with Gasket is a football-shaped strike indicator for fly rigs fished below the surface. It gives the angler a clear reference point for spotting pauses, acceleration and sideways movement that may signal a take. Its contrasting fluorescent gasket creates a bi-visible effect, helping the indicator stand out as light levels and the background of the water change.
Choose the size to suit the weight and resistance of the flies, any added weight, fishing depth and current speed. Smaller indicators are suited to more delicate presentations, while larger options are appropriate for heavier nymph rigs and more demanding water. Colour choice can be matched to prevailing light, surface glare and the contrast that is easiest for the angler to follow.
