Wapsi Football Indicator with Pegs
Wapsi Football Indicator with Pegs is a slotted strike indicator with a distinctive football-shaped profile. It can be fitted after the fly has already been tied on: place the leader in the slot and secure it with the supplied peg. This makes it straightforward to add an indicator without dismantling the terminal section of the rig.
The aerodynamic shape lifts readily from the surface when recasting. Its highly visible colouring helps the angler follow the drift and notice pauses, acceleration or submergence that may indicate a take. It is intended primarily for nymphing and other subsurface presentations where an easily observed reference point is useful.
Choose the size according to the weight of the rig, water conditions and the level of visibility required. A smaller indicator suits more delicate presentations, while a larger one provides greater support for heavier nymph rigs. Check the selector for the available size and colour combinations. Each pack contains six indicators, with pegs included.
