Wapsi Mylar Cord X-Large
Wapsi Mylar Cord X-Large is hollow braided reflective Mylar body tubing. It slips over a prepared underbody to form a streamer body, baitfish imitation or larger zonker profile. The braided surface reflects light and gives the finished body a distinct bright sheen while allowing the underbody to establish its shape.
Construction and use
Select the X-Large size by the diameter of the prepared underbody and the profile you want to build. Slide the cord over the underbody, leaving enough material beyond both tie-in points for secure attachment. Stretching narrows the braid and lengthens it; compressing it widens the cord, while the underbody supplies the finished profile. Tie it down at both ends and secure the cut edges with thread to help prevent fraying. Keep the tension controlled as you work, especially around the head and tail, and arrange the material in an even, smooth body.
