Wapsi Rabbit Zonkers Thin Cut is a narrow rabbit-hide strip with the hair attached. Its slim format makes smaller wings, tails, backs, and bodies when a full-width zonker would create too much bulk for the pattern.

Construction and use

Trim the strip to the hook length, even the hair, and clear loose fibres from the hide at the tie-in point. The thin format helps control proportions and produce slim streamer profiles and leech-style patterns. Run the strip lengthwise along the shank as a wing, tail or back and secure the hide at carefully chosen points.
