Wapsi Strung Rooster Saddles White

Wapsi Strung Rooster Saddles White consists of white, soft and broad rooster saddle feathers joined at the base. The bundle makes individual feathers convenient to select at the vise. Their soft, dense fibres create a full outline and move freely in water. White suits light patterns, contrast details and custom colouring with suitable feather dyes.

Construction and use

Use the feathers for streamer wings, tails and sides, as well as for matuka-style flies. They can also be wound as a soft hackle when the pattern needs flexible fibres that move in current. Select each feather according to the size and outline required for the fly. Clear loose down from the base before tying for a clean attachment point.
