Wapsi Thin Fly Foam Adhesive Back
Wapsi Thin Fly Foam Adhesive Back is tough, supple sheet foam with an adhesive backing. Cut it into fly components, then bond layers or apply prepared shapes when building beetles, crustaceans, wings and backs. The adhesive surface helps position a component before it is secured with thread as part of the finished construction.
Construction and use
Cut the required strip or shape first with sharp scissors, a knife, punch or matching cutter. Peel away the backing only after cutting, keeping the adhesive surface clean while the piece is being sized and positioned. Apply the prepared component directly to the intended surface and press it into place; add broad thread wraps when the construction needs further support. Match the width and outline of the cut component to the profile required by the fly pattern.

- Preparation: cut shapes or strips before removing the protective backing.
- Bonding: apply prepared pieces directly and join layers with the adhesive surface.
