Wapsi Thin Skin Fly Specks

Wapsi Thin Skin Fly Specks is a thin, stretchable, translucent Thin Skin sheet with a matte face, a shiny face and the characteristic Fly Specks printed pattern. It is cut into wing cases, backs and body covers when a fine speckled accent is required on the finished fly.

Construction and use

Cut strips or shaped pieces while the material remains on its removable backing, then peel it away. Tie the piece in at the rear, stretch it over the prepared body and secure it at the front. Adjust tension to the body width because stretching makes the sheet narrower. The printed specks remain visible on the finished wing case or back. Turn the material to place either the matte or shiny face outward, depending on the finish required by the pattern.
